We're David Thurston and Alexis Thurston - founders and brand builders. With our creative agency, Thurston Productions, we're not just building a company. We're building a world we want to live in, and one that's open to everyone we care about.

We're the founders of Danger Jones, a hair color and fashion brand now in 43 countries. We're also producing three feature-length rock documentaries and publishing The Spiral Staircase, David's book on creativity, rebellion, and reinvention. These aren't side projects. They're expressions of the same mission: community, disruption, and culture that transcends industries.

In 2016 we founded Pulp Riot.  Just 23 months later, we sold it to L'Oréal. We stayed on for three more years, then walked away at the peak. Took a year off. Traveled the world. And asked ourselves: What kind of a company and life do we actually want to build.

We came back swinging with Thurston Productions. Not just another beauty brand, but a creative brand, where anything is possible. Not another rocket ship, but a cathedral. Independent. Global. Soulful. Built to last. Built to matter.

David is the CEO of Danger Jones.  Alexis is the Chief Product Officer. We're parents to Bowie and Finley. Based in Los Angeles, but more often, on the road, building a global community of artists.
